AI-generated influencers seem to be taking over social media, so today I wanted to figure out if these generated influencers are better than their human alternatives, along with showing you how to create your very own AI-generated influencer.

Before we get started I’d love to know:

AI-Generated Influencers vs Human Alternatives 🤖

Al-generated influencers are gaining popularity because they are easier to control and deploy than human influencers, but their lack of humanity is actually what’s holding them back.

Problem #1: AI-generated influencers lack a genuine connection with their audience.

This study by Statista found that only 34% of people trust AI-generated content from influencers. It is hard to trust someone that you do not have a baseline human connection with, which is why sales and conversions are lower for AI-generated influencers compared to human alternatives.

Problem #2: Platforms are regulating content from virtual influencers.

TikTok recently stated that they will be automatically labeling AI-generated content on their platform in this recent article. This means that any AI-generated content will soon be disclosed which will increase transparency on the platform and protect against misinformation.

Other platforms will most likely follow this process to protect human influencers and consumers from the rise in AI-generated content on all major platforms.

First off, if you can create content as a human I would recommend continuing without the use of AI-generated influencers. But for whatever reason if you are unable to produce your own content, here are the steps to creating an AI-generated influencer:
